Comic Relief
Campaign to support Virgin Cola's support for Comic Relief and their slogan Pants To Poverty. The brief was to provoke, intrigue and involve the public whilst providing PR opportunities.
Stage 1 of the campaign consisted of posters and postcards, distributed around pubs, cubs and cafes telling people to look out for money growing on trees. Oh, and Golden Square being taken over by red underpants.
Stage 2 was the appearance of 1000 red envelopes hanging from tree branches throughout central London. Each one contained a real £5 note and a moral dilemma - would you keep the fiver or send it back to Comic Relief whereby Virgin Cola would match the donation?
